![]() ![]() (I should not have trusted this, but I did). ![]() When I did not receive any cancellation notice within 48 hours, checked with gym staff, I was told that my memebership was cancelled, I had nothing due, but the system was not sending out email due to a technical issue. Worried for my health, I cancelled my membership on January 20th, 2021 (32 days before 2-21-21). I joined with this in mind only to find overcrowding, people not following distancing, masking, sanitizations rules, sweaty unclean machines, sanitization stations without paper napkins and sanitizer. I was told that this was no committment and if I was not satisfied with the gym all I had to do was cancel my membership 30 days before this date to avoid the annual charge. There was an annual fee of $ 54.37 that was going to be charged to me on. I joined Crunch Fitness in Boulder on December 23rd, 2020 using their promotion code 'XMAS' offered 6 weeks free, with monthly charge of $ 10.95. Crunch has now charged my credit card for the above $960.00 transaction which I object to and have disputed with my credit card company. The check was never sent. After not receiving the check I disputed the charge with my bank, ***** Fargo, and they agreed with my case and rejected the charge putting the money back into my account. After several emails back and forth we were still in disagreement about the amount that should be refunded to me, but **** ***** agreed to have a $480 refund check sent to me. Finally, she responded that I need to talk to **** ***** who was the Training Manager. ![]() Crunch then withdrew two payments of $460 from my bank account by ******* tried to repeatedly contact the General Manager of Crunch who was unresponsive. ![]() This contract was separate from the monthly membership contract I signed with Crunch and paid in full.At the end of the two weeks of training on 8/6/21 I told my trainer, *********************, that I did not want to do anymore training sessions and he responded that he was fine with that. I was never advised of the cancellation policy nor does the agreement require cancellation in writing. During the process when I signed up for the above, I was clear I only would do 6 sessions and then I would decide after the 6 sessions if I wanted to sign up for more. Total amount I obligated my self to was $240.00. This was for 6 personal training sessions under a promotion that I would pay for 3 and get 3 free. I entered into a PT Agreement with Crunch Boulder starting on 7/24/21 for the total sum of $240.00. Crunch has charged me $45 for a membership which is still supposed to be frozen. Today,, I viewed my credit card statement to find two more additional charges of $14.99 each. Despite this, I have a singed form stating the terms of my freeze, which lasts seven months. The manager said that they couldn't do freezes over three months long and only one freeze per year. I called the location and asked them to remove it, nothing came of it. I had not had an issue with it until a few days ago,, when they charged me. They removed the charges from my account. After the freeze, I continued to be charged, which I disputed with my bank and credit card company. It was to be effective starting, unfreezing on. Before the end of my three months, I signed a freeze agreement on. I am a college student originally from **************, **, and I signed up with Crunch West **** over the summer for a three month membership for $14.99 a month starting. ![]()
